Tao Eternal
"Eternal Tao, Timeless Lacquer"
◈ Piece Name: "[Golden Spring]" ◈
Individual ID: #[T032] — Only one in existence.
❖ ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
This artistic masterpiece features vibrant yellow as its primary tone, accented with blue and green, meticulously crafted using the traditional Xipi Daqi lacquer technique over 10-13 weeks of dedicated handwork. The golden-yellow natural lacquer shines like warm sunlight—bright and full of vitality; blue speckles evoke the clear sky, while green accents resemble fresh spring grass. The three colors interweave like a sunlit spring meadow, creating a fresh and hopeful visual beauty.
The Xipi technique involves repeated layering and polishing of lacquer to create naturally undulating textures on the surface. Yellow dominates while blue and green complement, creating bright and harmonious colors with rich yet unified layers. Every detail feels like a gift from nature—a perfect crystallization of time and craftsmanship.
Color Symbolism: Yellow symbolizes sunshine, hope, and harvest, representing prosperity and good fortune in Chinese culture; blue represents the sky and wisdom, symbolizing an open heart; green signifies vitality and growth, embodying life force. The fusion of these three colors evokes spring sunlight bathing the earth, signifying flourishing life, thriving prosperity, and a brilliant future.
❖ Botanical Perfection
Beneath the vibrant palette lies a 100% botanical heart. The interior is hand-sealed with food-safe Raw Urushi, a legendary lacquer tree sap that is naturally antibacterial, heat-resistant, and becomes more durable over centuries of use.
