This artistic treasure features a warm orange palette as its primary tone, meticulously crafted using the traditional Xipi Daqi lacquer technique over 9-12 weeks of pure handwork. The orange-red natural lacquer evokes the rising sun—warm and brimming with vitality; golden speckles scattered throughout shimmer like morning light, radiant and luminous.
The Xipi technique involves repeated layering and polishing of lacquer to create naturally undulating textures on the surface. Orange and gold interweave—red infused with gold, gold glowing through red—presenting a richly layered visual effect where every detail embodies the crystallization of time and craftsmanship.
Color Symbolism: Orange symbolizes warmth, vitality, and harvest, representing good fortune and prosperity in Chinese culture. Golden accents enhance the sense of wealth and nobility, presenting an overall image of vigor and flourishing abundance.
