Tao Eternal
"Eternal Tao, Timeless Lacquer"
◈ Piece Name: "[Twilight Bloom]" ◈
Individual ID: #[T031] — Only one in existence.
❖ ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
This artistic masterpiece features an interweaving of gold, purple, and rose-pink, meticulously crafted using the traditional Xipi Daqi lacquer technique over 11-13 weeks of dedicated handwork. Gold shines like dawn's first light, purple glows like brilliant twilight, and rose-pink blooms like roses—gentle and romantic. These colors naturally blend together like magnificent sunset clouds, creating a dreamlike and luxurious visual feast.
The Xipi technique involves repeated layering and polishing of lacquer to create naturally undulating textures on the surface. Gold, purple, and rose-pink layer upon layer, interpenetrating harmoniously. The colors are vibrant yet balanced, every detail resembling flowing celestial clouds—a perfect crystallization of time and craftsmanship.
Color Symbolism: Purple has long been the imperial color, symbolizing nobility and auspiciousness; gold represents wealth and glory; rose-pink embodies romance, beauty, and gentleness. The fusion of these three colors evokes "purple qi from the east" (an auspicious omen), signifying prosperity, wealth, honor, and beautiful fortune.
❖ Botanical Perfection
Beneath the vibrant palette lies a 100% botanical heart. The interior is hand-sealed with food-safe Raw Urushi, a legendary lacquer tree sap that is naturally antibacterial, heat-resistant, and becomes more durable over centuries of use.
