Tao Eternal
"Eternal Tao, Timeless Lacquer"
◈ Piece Name: "[Golden Era]" ◈
Individual ID: #[T037] — Only one in existence.
❖ ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
This artistic masterpiece features a pure golden-yellow palette, meticulously crafted using the traditional Xipi Daqi lacquer technique over 10-13 weeks of dedicated handwork. The brilliant golden-yellow natural lacquer gleams like pure gold—warm and lustrous; intricate golden textures interweave with darker speckles, shimmering like scattered sunlight, radiant and luminous, presenting a regal and magnificent visual effect.
The Xipi technique involves repeated layering and polishing of lacquer to create naturally undulating textures on the surface. The overall color is rich and even, brilliantly golden with abundant layers and nuanced depth. Every detail radiates an aura of prosperity and good fortune, like solidified sunlight—a perfect crystallization of time and craftsmanship.
Color Symbolism: Golden-yellow has long symbolized nobility and wealth, representing abundance and auspicious fortune in Chinese culture. The gourd's pronunciation echoes "prosperity and fortune," and paired with gold, it amplifies meanings of good luck, wealth, and flowing abundance—symbolizing harvest, prosperity, and a brilliant future, signifying thriving business, flowing fortune, and dual blessings of prosperity and longevity.
❖ Botanical Perfection
Beneath the vibrant palette lies a 100% botanical heart. The interior is hand-sealed with food-safe Raw Urushi, a legendary lacquer tree sap that is naturally antibacterial, heat-resistant, and becomes more durable over centuries of use.
